Site Twelve – Braddock’s Encampment

Turn right onto Braddock’s Road for 0.5 mile and then left on Sand Hill Road. You are now back on a route very close to the original Braddock’s Road. After traveling about 0.9 mile, you will see a square structure on your right probably housing electrical equipment. This is the site of General Braddock’s encampment on the night of July 2-3, 1755. There is no marker and no place to park. |
